• Passes along all catering requests to Catering Manager for fulfillment.
• Updates Banquet Event Orders in coordination with Catering Manager.
• Confirms upcoming events with Catering Manager.
• Schedules, plans, and executes logistics for all Catering Events.
• Helps enter, organize, and update EMS Reservations and Banquet Event Orders.
• Assists in gathering data reports.
• Coordinates with Calvin Event Services & Venues Department for invoicing and payments.
• Maintains records and prepares reports for continuous improvement for catering events.
• Communicates with Catering Manager and Food and Beverage Director regarding feedback.

Creative Dining Services is looking for a Catering Coordinator. The Catering Coordinator will assist the management team with the operational tasks associated with scheduled catering events. Works professionally and cooperatively to ensure excellence in customer service, attractive food presentation, and supports sustainability and fiscal responsibility in accordance with company standards.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Performs administrative duties in support of the catering department And catering services
  • Sends assigned weekly sales reports to Campus Dining Services office
  • Passes along all catering requests to Catering Manager for fulfillment
  • Works in coordination with Catering Manager to accurately update Banquet Event Orders
  • Works in coordination with Catering Manager to Confirm upcoming events
  • Works with Catering Manager to schedule, plan, and execute logistics for all Catering Events
  • Helps enter, organize, and update EMS Reservations and Banquet Event Orders as requested
  • Assists in gathering various data reporting when requested
  • Works in coordination with Calvin Event Services & Venues Department to ensure accurate and timely event invoicing and payment collection
  • Maintains records and prepares reports for continuous improvement for catering events.
  • Communicates directly with the Catering Manager and the Food and Beverage Director regarding any complaints, problems, or compliments from customers or staff
