Summary:

In this role, you will manage a market-leading portfolio of pharmaceutical supplier service agreements, delivering best-in-class contracting strategies and expertise that reduce supply chain costs. You will maintain existing pharmacy program opportunities by coordinating stakeholder needs through contracting, advisory, compliance, policy, and analytics services. You will support the development of new opportunities in partnership with team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment of business strategy with overall corporate objectives related to services and contracting activities. Ensure project and contract alignment to stakeholder needs and market competitiveness, partnering with cross-functional teams to maximize value.
  • Capture and organize information shared during voice of customer engagements to understand stakeholders' requirements, strategic agendas, and tactical direction.
  • Identify strategic issues and opportunities to improve stakeholder satisfaction and engagement based on voice of customer sessions.
  • Review financial aspects of contracts, including budgets, forecasting, and revenue expectations.
  • Lead pharmaceutical negotiations, including opportunity identification, strategy formulation, contract development, negotiation, documentation, and implementation. Apply knowledge of standard contract terms to address provider questions.
  • Build relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and serve as the main point of contact for pharmacy service programs, delivering superior customer service.
  • Partner with legal resources to explain complex concepts or situations requiring deviations from standard contract terms and develop appropriate contract language.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor. Ensure stakeholders know how to access pharmacy program offerings.
  • Monitor, review, and update existing projects and contracts based on market changes; contribute to new projects that provide strategic insights and value.
  • Pursue opportunities to organically grow pharmacy purchases and savings within existing programs.

Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy or PharmD Degree required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with contracting and negotiations preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong presentation and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and deliver results.
  • Experience in pharmacy, marketing, business, or project management is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

Salary range: $117,600.00 to $194,200.00, with potential incentives. Compensation considers skills, experience, and geographic factors.
