Job summary

Montefiore Einstein is seeking an experienced Category Manager - Medical Surgical to join our high-performing Supply Chain team. This role will drive enterprise-wide sourcing strategy, partner with clinical leaders, and negotiate with key suppliers to improve cost, quality, service, and patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Supply Chain, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 4+ years of healthcare Supply Chain and/or contract management experience.
• Experience with medical-surgical products, distribution, inpatient or ambulatory supplies.
• Healthcare spend management and GPO experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with ERP, contract management, inventory systems, and/or GHX/EDI.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Annual Base Salary Range: $132,000 to $165,000

Work Hours: Mon. to Fri.: 8:30 AM-5 PM (Hybrid)
