Ben E. Keith is seeking a Category Manager to maximize category sales and gross profit within the assigned category and to improve the company’s overall market share.

The role involves leading Purchasing Managers and Assistants, driving data-driven decisions, and maintaining vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, 3 years of purchasing experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Word/PowerPoint.

Formación

• 3 years of purchasing or equivalent business experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and vendor presentations.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving to perform company business.
• Proficient computer skills including Word and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Represent Ben E. Keith professionally and follow dress code.
• Maximize category sales and gross profit within assigned category.
• Manage day-to-day tasks and training of Purchasing Managers and Purchasing Assistants.
• Perform administrative functions and data analysis supporting key sales initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor product performance to achieve budgeted goals.
• Provide feedback to Director of Purchasing.
• Ensure quality and packaging standards are met.
• Educate District Sales Reps on products within assigned category.
