Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a strategic Category Manager to lead procurement across services and supplies for our nationwide portfolio. You will own sourcing strategies, vendor negotiations, and supplier performance to drive cost savings and value for our properties.

Collaborating with property operations and corporate teams, you will analyze spend data, manage RFP/RFI processes, and ensure compliance with policies and risk standards in a fast-growing, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field and strong negotiation skills.
• Experience: 5+ years in strategic sourcing or category management, preferably in facilities management.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and tools is required.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and project management skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for services and supplies.
• Lead RFPs, RFIs, and contract negotiations with suppliers and service providers.
• Analyze spending data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with property operations teams to understand needs and ensure supplier performance.

Category Manager – Corporate Services

Asset Living is seeking a strategic and results-driven Category Manager to lead procurement efforts across a broadset of categories in support of our properties. This role will lead the sourcing, contract negotiation, and suppliermanagement across key spending areas. Example sub-categories may include Waste Management, SecurityServices, Flooring, etc. depending on team alignment and needs. The ideal candidate will bring deep categoryexpertise, strong vendor relationships, and a passion for driving operational excellence and cost savings.

• Lead Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and contract negotiations with
• suppliers and service providers.
• Analyze spending data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with property operations teams to understand needs and ensure supplier performance.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews and compliance monitoring.
• Ensure alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and risk management standards.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; MBA or CPM/CPSM preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management, preferably within the Facilities Management categories with exposure to the Property Management Industry.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
