Commercial Insights plays a critical leadership role on the PepsiCo Walmart Beverage team, driving growth through actionable shopper, category, and commercial insights. This role serves as a strategic thought partner to Sales, Category Leadership, Shopper Marketing, Digital, Supply Chain, and Brand teams, translating complex data into clear business opportunities that accelerate growth across key beverage categories.
This individual will lead the development of insights-driven strategies by leveraging a broad range of data sources including Walmart Scintilla, Circana syndicated data, panel data, Harmonya, Numerator and proprietary PepsiCo resources. The role is responsible for uncovering emerging shopper trends, identifying growth opportunities, evaluating business performance, and influencing key decisions related to assortment, merchandising, innovation, pricing, promotion, and omnichannel activation.
Success in this role requires a strong blend of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, storytelling, and commercial acumen. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, customer-focused, and passionate about understanding the beverage categories and shifting trends. They are able to connect insights to action, influence senior stakeholders, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and proactively identify opportunities to drive both category and PepsiCo growth.
This leader will be expected to challenge conventional thinking, embrace emerging technologies including AI-enabled analytics and automation, and help shape the future of insight generation within the Walmart business. The individual should demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, a growth mindset, and the ability to operate effectively across a highly matrixed organization.
