JOB PURPOSE

The Category Manager delivers objective strategic thought leadership and insights to drive solutions that accelerate growth for Albertsons and Unilever. This position will work across the Banners of Albertsons to lead and develop Category growth recommendations using all Category Management capabilities and insights.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
  • Develop category growth recommendations which are data led and shopper focused.
  • Become the go-to resource for Albertsons for Category and Shopper expertise across Food Categories.
  • Power User and ability to develop insight-based recommendations through the integration of Category Management Tools such as Circana, Richmix, Numerator Insights, Retailer Loyalty Data
  • Develop strong relationships with various levels of management at Albertsons and Unilever.
  • Pro-actively support Team Lead and CBMs on key business opportunities and provide actionable growth recommendations.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • 3-4 years Category Management experience interfacing with Customers:
  • Ability to handle multiple Foods categories at once across Banners.
  • Ability to proactively create and present insight driven analysis with recommendations.
  • Proficient in leveraging Category Management principles, Circana, Shopper/Consumer Insights, Retailer Loyalty Data, Richmix, Numerator Insights.
  • Ability to work independently with short deadlines, across multiple priorities and in a team environment.
  • Excellent planning, analytical, communication skills required.
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and presentation skills
  • Travel – As Needed for in person customer appointment

Pay: The pay range for this position is $99,760 to $149,640. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
