Robbinsdale Cooper High School is seeking a Nutrition Services employee for a Category III position. The 3-hour shift is from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm during the school year, with pay between $18.96 and $22.25 per hour, plus a $0.50 secondary stipend.

This non-benefits eligible role is in the Nutrition Services department and is non-exempt under the district contract. Responsibilities include preparing food, serving, cashier duties, and maintaining records; ServSafe certification required within 6

Job Summary:

The Nutrition Services worker assists in preparation and service of food to students in a school setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare food according to the planned menu; operate equipment and ovens as needed.
• Maintain daily records of food production; maintain inventory of food and supplies.
• Complete daily set-up of school food; provide materials and supplies as needed for the menu items.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

• ServSafe certification within the first 6 months of employment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Physical requirements associated with the position can best be summarized as ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
