Job summary

World Bank Group seeks a Senior Procurement Specialist (Category Head - Consulting) to lead a team of Category Managers and drive category strategy for consulting services. You will partner with senior leaders to deliver value, optimize costs, and manage supplier relationships across global offices.

The role requires a Master's degree with 8+ years in category management, strong leadership, and excellent English communication. Some travel and time-zone coordination may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with minimum 8 years of experience in category management and sourcing complex procurements.
• Proven experience in category management in Consulting services sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Category Managers and procurement professionals.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of category strategies across assigned spend categories.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, value creation, demand management, and process improvement.
• Lead periodic category reviews and strategic planning exercises.
