Catawba Valley Health System in North Carolina is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide patient-centered care under physician supervision. You will perform history and physical examinations, diagnose and implement treatment plans, and interpret lab results with a team-based approach.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited Nursing and NP program, hold an NC license, and obtain ACLS/PALS or BCLS within three months of employment. Family or specialty NP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program and accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Current NC license to practice.
• ACLS and PALS or BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required within three months of employment.

Education And Credentials

• Required: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program and accredited Nurse Practitioner Program. Current NC license. ACLS and PALS or BCLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within three months of employment date.
• Preferred: Family or Specialty Nurse Practitioner Certification.

Work Experience

• Required: See Practice Area Requirements below. Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
• Preferred: Two or more years of experience in practice area.
