Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Field Auto Appraiser for catastrophic loss to inspect, identify, and evaluate autos involved in claims. The role involves traveling to various inspection locations and using estimatics software to prepare estimates.

The position supports CAT deployments, manages daily appraisal volume, and requires strong time management and independent work habits in a remote US-based setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licenses as required by state guidelines.
• Two years of related experience including at least one year of appraisal experience.

Responsibilities

• Appraises and determines costs of repairs to damaged vehicle in the field; determines repair versus replace and parts utilization.
• Evaluates and determines if the vehicle is repairable or salvageable based on industry standard estimatics software.
• Travels to inspection locations to appraise vehicles in the field.
• Prepares estimates using estimatics software.
• Works directly with auto repair facilities to determinate supplemental repair processing and provides a supplemental estimate.
