Job summary

Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is offering a Catastrophe Risk Analyst Intern position in our Plymouth, MN office. This paid internship runs roughly 10–12 weeks with an early June 2027 start, based at our Corporate Headquarters.

You will join our Actuarial team to gain hands-on experience in catastrophe modeling, data analysis, and account pricing while supporting professionals on day-to-day tasks. The role is designed for a student pursuing a relevant degree and seeking practical training

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Risk Management, Programming, Natural Sciences, or a related field and graduating in spring 2027 or later.
• Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and other data entry/spreadsheet programs.
• Strong analytical aptitude and written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist on various catastrophe analysis projects within the Actuarial division.
• Support data analysis and modeling tasks for catastrophe risk projects.
• Contribute to learning about catastrophe risk management and insurance analytics.
