Catastrophe Planning and Logistics Manager

Are you ready to make a lasting impact during critical moments? We are seeking a dedicated Catastrophe Planning and Logistics Manager to lead efforts in delivering timely resources and services to AAA members and the ACE organization following disasters. By leveraging data, technology, and collaboration, you will streamline claims processes, mitigate risks, and provide exceptional service when it matters most.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement cohesive logistics plans for catastrophe (CAT) response, ensuring readiness.
  2. Create and maintain transparent systems for procurement and delivery of disaster response essentials.
  3. Train and lead teams in emergency operations.
  4. Coordinate resources, personnel, and logistics in disaster-affected areas.
  5. Assess and improve disaster response strategies.
  6. Plan and coordinate exercises to enhance Claims department readiness.
  7. Manage coordination, communication, tracking, and reporting for Catastrophe Claims events.
  8. Conduct update calls with executive staff during disasters, providing status updates.
  9. Collaborate with partners to enable equipment and supply management during events.
  10. Develop transportation operations for efficient distribution of supplies and services.
  11. Act as the focal point for multi-discipline logistics operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. 4-6 years of Claims Management or related experience.
  3. Experience in disaster management or emergency response.
  4. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  7. Familiarity with regulatory guidelines such as FEMA and local protocols.
  8. Relevant certifications in emergency management are preferred.
  9. Problem-solving skills under high-pressure scenarios.
  10. Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  11. Interpersonal skills for managing diverse teams and partners.

The starting pay range for this position is: $106,200 - $156,400.

Full-time employees are eligible for our incentive program based on performance.
