Job summary

Aon plc in Miami is hiring a Catastrophic (CAT) Modeler to support inland CAT modeling and client deliverables. You will coordinate with teammates to build in-house CAT tools and deliver analyses and reports.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and bilingual English/Spanish, with advanced Excel/Access/PowerPoint skills; Python/SQL knowledge is a plus. This is a hybrid position with remote and office days in Miami.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, actuarial, finance, engineering, geology or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong English/Spanish bilingual ability is required.
• Proficiency with Excel/Access/PowerPoint; Python or SQL knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with analysts to build and maintain CAT modeling tools.
• Prepare client-ready presentations and reports.
• Collaborate with brokers, actuaries and rating agencies on client projects.
• Provide data analysis and written reports explaining findings.
• Deliver real-time loss estimates for events in Latin America.
