Job summary

Guy Carpenter is seeking a talented professional to join the Analytics and Advisory team. This hybrid role is based in Dallas (with other offices noted) and requires working in the office at least three days a week.

You will manage catastrophe modeling projects end-to-end, contribute to client discussions on reinsurance strategy, pricing adequacy, and portfolio management, and build strong relationships with brokers, clients and reinsurers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of catastrophe modeling experience across multiple insurance segments.
• Strong data management skills with Databricks, MS SQL, Python and R.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for brokers and clients.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail with financial acumen.
• Curious, proactive, and adaptable mindset with project leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage catastrophe modeling projects from start to finish with timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Contribute to client discussions on reinsurance strategy, underwriting support, and pricing.
• Build relationships with brokers, clients, reinsurers, and colleagues, and respond to questions promptly.
• Develop expertise in region- or peril-specific catastrophe risk through research and hands-on experience.
