Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or relevant experience.
• Experience with ophthalmic testing and patient care is preferred.
• BLS from American Heart Association is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs ophthalmic testing, measurements, or procedures as trained.
• Prepares patients for diagnostic studies, treatments, or procedures and explains processes.
• Documents patient histories, findings, results, and data in the EMR.
• Operates ophthalmic instruments and imaging systems used in the Cataract Suite.
• Assists with examinations and procedures, including pre- and post-procedure support.
• Ensures exam rooms and equipment meet safety and infection control standards.
