Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in laboratory operations and running lab-scale equipment.
• Prior experience in catalysis and/or adsorbent science is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct experimental plans to develop new catalyst projects for petrochemicals, sustainable fuels, and refining to improve energy utilization and maximize yield.
• Develop expertise in manufacturing technologies including catalyst support forming, metals impregnation, and heat treatment.
• Complete hands-on laboratory and semi-works experiments and supervise laboratory technicians on experimental plans.
• Interface with other UOP departments to ensure robust products for customers.
• Engage with regional MPT and ISC teams to move development products through manufacturing trial runs to enable handoff for production.
