Job summary

IQVIA Translation Services seeks freelance English-to-Catalan translators with life sciences experience to join a global network of linguists. Native Catalan with strong English skills, and 1+ year of domain experience, is preferred. Independent, deadline-driven professionals with CAT/tMS experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Native Catalan fluency in spoken and written form
• Fluent English, spoken and written
• At least 1 year translating, reviewing and editing life sciences content
• University degree in translation or linguistics with at least 2 years translation experience OR no degree with at least 5 years translation experience
• Be able to work to tight deadlines and independently is a must
• Experience with CAT tools and TMS is a must

Responsibilities

• Translate life sciences documents from English to Catalan
• Review and edit translations for accuracy and consistency
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines
• Maintain and apply terminology glossaries for consistency
• Collaborate with the translation team and client contacts
