Responsibilities

This is a WOW (Work on Weekends) position. Schedules for WOW employees include every weekend (Nights - Friday & Saturday, Days - Saturday & Sunday). Employees in designated WOW position earn premium pay in addition to their competitive hourly rates and shift differential.

The CAT Scanner Technologist uses imaging, computer, and other equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images that meet or exceed department, organizational, and industry standards. They demonstrate thorough knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, as well as image quality. They prepare patients for procedures, educate, and respond to questions or concerns, ensuring age-appropriate communication, safety, and patient education. They understand patient positioning, imaging techniques, radiation safety, equipment, infection control, and quality control. They also oversee and train students providing patient care and treatment as part of their training.

Qualifications
Required:
  • RO (State Radiography License) and ARRT-R, ARRT-N, or CNMT and must obtain ARRT-CT within 1 year of hire.
  • OR
  • ROT (Temp State Radiography License) and must obtain ARRT-R, ARRT-N, or CNMT prior to ROT expiration, and ARRT-CT within 1 year of hire.
Desired:
  • One year of CT scanning experience.
