The ideal candidate will have a JRCERT accredited education and a commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiography Program required.
  • BLS certification required. ARRT Registered or eligible.

  • Performs all CT procedures and maintains knowledge of equipment operation.
  • Safely operates the scanner to produce diagnostic quality CT images.

Location:Gulf Coast Medical Center -13681 Doctor's WayFort Myers FL 33912

Department: Radiology - CT Scan

Work Type: Full Time

Shift: Shift 3/7:00:00 PM to 7:30:00 AM / Thursday - Saturday

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$30.39 - $39.50 / hour

Summary

Performs all CT procedures and maintains a thorough working knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the CT area. Safely operates the scanner and injector in order to produce diagnostic quality CT images. Understands the computer software of the CT scanners and maintains competency in CT area. Consistently applies working knowledge pertaining to CT anatomy and patho-physiology to produce a high standard of quality images while under the direction of a radiologist. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation and training. Performs venipuncture for appropriate exams. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed.

Requirements

Education: Graduation of JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology) Accredited or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) approved Radiography Program required.

Experience: No experience required.

Certification: BLS required. ARRT Registered or eligible.

License: Florida Radiologic Technologist License
