Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech) for assignments in Glendale, CA. The CT Tech will perform CT scans, obtain patient histories, explain procedures, and address patient concerns while adhering to safety and clinical standards.

The role follows a 40-hour work week with competitive weekly pay and benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance. ARRT certification and valid state licensure are required or will be specified by contract.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement).
• One (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging.
• ARRT Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech)

Pay: $3395 / Week

Hours: 40.00

Location: Glendale, CA

The CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographicscanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailedinformation about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essentialfor accurate diagnostics. The CT ScanTechnologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, andaddresses patient concerns. The CT Technologist also performs a variety ofspecialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• One (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.

• Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging

• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
