Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech) in Bethesda, MD. The technologist will produce CT radiographs, obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns.

Responsibilities include performing specialized CT tasks and ensuring patient safety. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, state licensure, ARRT certification if required, CPR, and being at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of CT Technologist experience preferred.
• Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging.
• ARRT certification if required by state regulations or contract.
• Compliance with professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech)

Setting: Healthcare Facilities

Job Type: Travel

Pay: $2900 / Week

Hours: 32.00

Location: Bethesda, MD

The CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographicscanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailedinformation about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essentialfor accurate diagnostics. The CT ScanTechnologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, andaddresses patient concerns. The CT Technologist also performs a variety ofspecialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• One (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.

• Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging

• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
