Job summary

Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville, OR is seeking a radiology professional to provide CT and X‑ray imaging overnight with on‑call support. The current shift is Thu/Fri/Sat 7:00pm–7:30am and may flex to patient needs.

Schedule: Covers both CT and X-Ray overnight, with on‑call support if needed. This shift is flexible, given that both night spots are open. Current shift is Th/F/Sat = 7:00pm - 7:30am.

Position Summary

Provides computerized assisted tomographic/radiologic services as ordered/directed, according to established practices and procedures.

  • When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
  • Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
  • Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
  • Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

  • Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).
  • Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
  • Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.

What we're looking for
  • Education: Graduated from an ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP), ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB registry in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine Registry
