Job summary

ExecuSource is seeking a CT Technologist for a hospital in Cookeville, TN. The full-time evening shift runs Monday–Thursday, 2:00pm–12:30am. You will operate CT scanners, administer iodinated contrast, and assist radiologists with exams per physician orders, ensuring patient safety and image quality.

You will interact with patients and families, perform data entry in HIS/RIS/PACS, and uphold infection control and department standards in a busy radiology setting.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification in CT preferred; if not registered, must obtain within 1 year of CT training completion.
• Preferred: 2 years of CT exams on a multi-slice scanner.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, flow rate injectors, EKG monitoring systems, and PACS.
• Administer iodinated contrast and manage radiographic supplies while following department standards for patient care and safety.
• Handle front-line department tasks: customer service, phone communication, data entry and retrieval in HIS/RIS/PACS, cleaning of exam and work areas, and infection control.
• Meet the hospital's service standards with patients, families, and colleagues.

CT Technologist | Cookeville, TN

Full-Time · Evenings · Monday-Thursday, 2:00pm-12:30am

ExecuSource is assisting on a seach for a CT Technologist for a hospital client in Cookeville, TN. You would work directly with patients and assist radiologists and physicians in performing CT exams per physician orders.

Compensation

• $30.14 - $35.54/hr
• $1.15/hr differential for hours after 3:00pm
• Optional sign-on bonus of $7,500 for candidates with 2+ years of experience, with an 18-month commitment. Requires working one additional shift per payroll period if the hospital deems it necessary.
• Relocation assistance of up to $5,000. If you take the sign-on bonus, the relocation commitment is covered by the 18-month agreement. If you take relocation only, the commitment is 12 months.

What you'll need

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
• BLS
• ARRT certification in CT preferred. If not yet registered in CT, you must obtain it within one year of completing CT training.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience with all types of CT exams on a multi-slice scanner
• Professional, caring manner with patients and families, including during high-stress situations, and the ability to stay steady in a busy department with frequent interruptions
