Job summary

St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center, part of Catholic Health, is hiring a CT/MRI technologist. The role performs CT and MRI procedures with independent judgment and ensures high-quality imaging while adhering to policies and safety standards.

The candidate must hold a NYS Radiographer License with Injection, ARRT registration, and CT/MRI registries are preferred. BLS is required as part of the qualifications.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiologic Technology training from an AMA-approved school.
• Current NYS Radiographer License with Injection required.
• Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• CT ARRT Registry preferred; MRI ARRT Registry preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and MRI procedures with independent judgment and initiative.
• Produces and evaluates images for technical quality; ensures proper patient identification.
• Adheres to hospital policies and promotes service excellence.
• Demonstrates knowledge of CT/MRI protocols and regulatory requirements.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of CAT scan and MRI procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative.
• The technologist will produce and evaluate CT/MRI images for technical quality, properly identifies images and patient and effectively uses judgment for protocols and procedures.
• Adheres to St. Francis Hospital and departmental policies and procedures and JCAHO/ regulatory agency requirements. Demonstrates and promotes service excellence at all times.
• NYS radiographer's license, registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technology, knowledge and working experience in computerized axis tomography required.

Requirements:

• Associate / Bachelor degree preferred
• Completion of Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school required
• NYS Radiographer License with Injection
• Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technology
• Knowledge and working experience in Computed Tomography & MRI
• BLS required
• CT ARRT Registry preferred
• MRI ARRT Registry preferred

Salary Range

USD $54.50 - USD $67.48 /Hr.
