Job summary

Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, KY is seeking a Cat Scan Technician (CT) to join our radiology team. You will perform CT imaging, help ensure image quality, and monitor patient safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications include ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB accredited program and CT registry within 1 year of hire, with an associate degree preferred. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within Lifepoint Health.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition continually and reports changes as appropriate.
• Selects exposure factors and imaging parameters; prepares equipment and supplies.
• Implements safety standards and quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots and reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures.
• Analyzes results and identifies issues with image quality; repositions as needed.
• Enters, transmits and reports scan results.

Education

Associate's degree preferred

How you'll contribute

• When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

What we're looking for

Education: Graduated from an ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine required. Associate's degree preferred.

Experience: 1 year in Radiologic technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or CT procedures preferred.

Certifications: Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) required; ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB registry in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine Registry required. ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) required (within 1 year hire/transfer).
