Job summary

Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, KY, is seeking a Cat Scan Technician (CT) to join our radiology team on the full-time evening shift. You will prepare contrast media, monitor patients, and perform imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and high image quality.

ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB-registries are required and CT certification within 1 year of hire; an associate degree is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits, tuition assistance, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Education: ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine required.
• Experience: 1 year in Radiologic technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or CT procedures preferred.
• Certifications: BLS-HCP required; ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB registry required; ARRT CT registry required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment, select exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implements safety standards and quality control on equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures; analyze results and resolve image quality issues.

How you'll contribute

A Cat Scan Technician (CT) who excels in this role:

• When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).
• Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.

What we're looking for

• Education: Graduated from an ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine required. Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience: 1 year in Radiologic technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or CT procedures preferred.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) required; ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB registry in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine Registry required. ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) required (within 1 year hire/transfer).
