A Cat’s Place Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our feline-focused team. You will support veterinarians and technicians, help restrain and monitor patients, and ensure smooth daily operations in a collaborative hospital environment.

Ideal candidates bring prior Veterinary Assistant experience or strong feline handling skills, along with excellent communication and a desire to learn and grow in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as Veterinary Assistant preferred.
• Feline handling experience and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during wellness and illness appointments.
• Safely handle and restrain feline patients during examinations and procedures.
• Obtain thorough patient histories and document medical information.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for appointments and procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients and reinforce veterinarian recommendations.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain efficient daily workflow.
