Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school with strong academic record.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in liability defense.
• PA Bar admission required; NJ admission is a strong plus.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Judicial clerkship experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle general liability and casualty defense matters from intake through trial in PA state and federal courts.
• Draft pleadings, written discovery responses, and dispositive motions.
• Take and defend depositions of clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses.
• Appear at court hearings, oral argument, and arbitrations on behalf of carrier clients.
• Provide strategic recommendations and coverage analysis to insurance clients.
