First Chicago Insurance Company (FCIC) is seeking an experienced Casualty Claims Specialist in Dodge City, Kansas. The successful candidate will investigate and settle automobile bodily injury claims, including complex liability claims. Responsibilities include conducting thorough investigations and working closely with third parties and legal counsel. Candidates must have 3-5 years of casualty claims experience, knowledge of legal and medical terminology, and excellent negotiation and communication skills. Qualifications

• 3-5 years in Casualty claims experience required.
• Knowledge of legal and medical terminology.
• Ability to pass written examinations to become a licensed claims adjuster.

Responsabilités

• Review and determine course of action on each file assigned.
• Conduct thorough investigations on claims.
• Process Bodily Injury and coverage claims as per office procedures.
• Work closely with Third Parties and legal counsel.
• Document policy status, coverage, liability and damages.
• Prepare and present claim evaluations for settlement.
