Job description

Due to another internal promotion, this global client is looking to recruit an experienced casualty claims handler to join their team on a 100% home-based basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a technical reference point for key clients regarding liability.
• Handle a caseload of public and employers’ liability claims from intimation through to settlement.
• Assess damage/liability, identify fraud, and negotiate quantum.
• Liaise with clients, brokers, suppliers, claimants, and third parties.
• Provide an efficient and courteous service in a professional manner.
• Manage your own caseload from intimation through to settlement.

Experience:

• Proven track record of handling liability claims – EL, PL, and product.
• Confident in handling claims from intimation through to settlement.
• Knowledge and experience of handling MOJ portal claims.
• Good understanding of insurance principles.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience with Life Insurance, Income Protection, Pension, Private Medical Insurance, and Share Save plans.
• Ambition for career development and support towards gaining CII and ACII qualifications.
