Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; combination of work and experience considered.
• 5+ years of relevant experience; P&C Insurance background strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review coverage forms and claim records to determine insurance coverage.
• Interview clients and third parties; gather records to analyze liability.
• Establish reserves and update claim notes; communicate status to policyholders.
• Engage in settlements and coordinate with defense firms for litigated claims.
• Draft comprehensive loss reports for senior leadership and reinsurers.
