Role Description

The Casualty Claims Adjuster role is a part-time, remote position responsible for handling casualty claims from initial assignment through resolution. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing claim files, gathering and analyzing documentation, interviewing involved parties and witnesses, and assessing liability and damages. The adjuster prepares clear reports, communicates with insurers, policyholders, and other stakeholders, and recommends appropriate settlement strategies within established guidelines. This role also involves maintaining detailed records, adhering to regulatory and company standards, and managing multiple claims while meeting deadlines and service expectations.

Qualifications

• Claims Resolution skills, including evaluating liability, negotiating settlements, and bringing claims to fair closure.
• Claims Management and Claims Handling skills to organize, prioritize, and process multiple casualty claims efficiently.
• Experience with Property Damage assessment, including reviewing estimates and supporting documentation.
• Knowledge of Insurance principles, policy language, and industry practices related to casualty and property claims.
