Casualty Analytics Manager

The Opportunity:

The Casualty Analytics Manager will be responsible for strategy alignment, development, and execution within their product area. As a key member of the Product Analytics team, they will collaborate cross-functionally with senior stakeholders, underwriting, accumulation, reserving, capital management, performance, and pricing teams to deliver profitable growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, business acumen, and the ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks effectively.

Location & Work Arrangement
  • Location: New York City, NY
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days in the office per week)
Compensation

The salary range for this role is between $203,000 and $305,000.

Your New Role:
  • Liaise with the Global Product Head to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Support strategic issues and transformation initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise to support business decisions.
  • Lead product planning and prioritization, balancing goals and resources.
  • Ensure timely delivery and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with underwriting, reserving, and other teams to develop comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Drive portfolio optimization and monitor industry trends for new opportunities and threats.
  • Define and track KPIs for product profitability and risk management.
  • Oversee pricing assumptions, methods, and tools for consistency and efficiency.
  • Lead pricing reviews and monitor business opportunities.
Work Experience & Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in reinsurance, insurance, actuarial services, or consulting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with senior management and in data analysis and systems.
  • Management experience in the insurance sector.
  • Fellowship with a recognized actuarial society (e.g., FCAS, FIA).
  • Tertiary degree or equivalent education and experience.
