Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide regularly scheduled work coverage on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each semester during regular semester hours.
• Assist in checking that all labs are complete and prepped.
• Prepare solutions with hazardous materials without the need for supervision.
• Culture bacteria for microbiology and all biology courses.
• Perform clerical work.
• Prepare 8‑week course materials.
• Train lab personnel.
• Assist in developing training videos for various aspects of the bio prep lab.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Associate’s degree, 2 semesters of biology or chemistry, and 1 year of biology or chemistry lab experience.

Compensation

Hourly: $19

25 hours per week – Tuesdays to Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
