Job summary

UPMC McKeesport is seeking an experienced RN to join our Resource Pool. This role offers casual hours with a minimum of one shift every two weeks, providing flexibility for nurses seeking balance with other commitments.

The Professional Staff Nurse provides highly competent patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and the care team to achieve optimal outcomes. Applicants will be placed on the Nursing Career Ladder based on experience and education, with licensure and certifications

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains productive relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the nursing process and care planning.
• Provides patient education and supports transition of care to home or next level of care.
• Ensures compliance with licensure and safety standards.
