A leading public health organization is seeking a remote Research Assistant to support research focused on migrant communities. This role involves qualitative data coding, project coordination, and literature reviews, with opportunities for community engagement. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor’s program and may have experience working with migrant populations.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a remote Research Assistant to support public health research focused on migrant communities. Key responsibilities include qualitative data coding, project coordination, and literature reviews to support reports, grants, and IRB applications. The role involves collaboration with a small, national and international team, and occasional travel for community events.
Experience with migrant communities, Spanish fluency, and familiarity with community-engaged research are valuable. A current project includes an HIV prevention study with Seasonal Migrant Workers.

Minimum Education:
High school diploma required. Must be currently enrolled or will be enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree Program or higher.

Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
