Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety throughout imaging, including screening, preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols.
• Apply professional judgment to optimize image quality and address imaging challenges.
• Reviews images prior to exam completion and initiates corrective action when needed.
• Administers contrast per policy with patient monitoring.
• Operates imaging equipment and maintains imaging room readiness.
• Coordinates exam flow and prioritizes time-sensitive studies.
• Maintains documentation in medical records and image archive system.
• Upholds safety standards and complies with ethical and regulatory guidelines.
• Supports department initiatives to improve relationships, reliability, and efficiency.
