Department Overview
Our diagnostics and sedation nursing team supports testing and ambulatory surgery at Minnetonka. We provide advanced sedation, work with anesthesia for MRI and hearing tests, and perform PIV starts, port care, lab draws, and nurse-administered nitrous. We value teamwork, safety, learning, and professional growth, dedicated to excellent patient care.

The Radiologic Technologist performs X-ray procedures to assist diagnosis or treatment, maintaining professional judgment and ethical standards. Provides patient care and assesses patient conditions for successful procedures.

Education/Certification

• High school diploma or GED, required.
• Completion of an accredited radiology program or equivalent, required.
• ARRT certification as a radiologic technologist, required.
• Current BLS certification, required.
