Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking an Assistant Radiologic Technologist to join the Lakes Medical Center imaging team in Wyoming, MN. This casual, as-needed position supports radiology staff and helps ensure timely imaging services for patients in a busy department.

Shifts available include evenings in X-ray, weekend MRI, and weekend CT, with duties spanning patient care, image processing, data management, and collaboration with radiologists and technologists to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Nursing Assistant or Assistant Rad Tech six months into a Radiologic Technology Program
• Current or Previous Nursing Assistant or Student of Radiologic Technology or experience as an Assistant Rad Tech

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient care
• Identifies relevant data from images accurately.
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional.
• Participates in creating a culture of patient safety.
• Confirms patient identification, escorts/transports patients as needed/directed, and introduces co-works and hospital staff to patient.
• Answers questions/concerns, communicates needed instructions, and delays in patient scheduling and responds promptly to patient concerns.
