Job summary

The Minnesota Masonic Home in Bloomington, MN, seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to organize, develop, and direct physical therapy services under minimal supervision. You will contribute to resident care across acute and long-term settings and uphold the highest standards of customer service and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Experience in adult acute and long-term care desired, but not required.
• Ability to incorporate all aspects of physical therapy in total resident care.
• Promote team philosophy and help residents reach their highest function.

The Physical Therapist Assistant, with minimal supervision, is responsible for organizing, developing, and directing physical therapy services in accordance with the standards and practices of physical therapy, state, federal, and Minnesota Masonic Home's policies and procedures. The Assistant assures that the highest degree of quality resident care, customer service, fiscal responsibility and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times. Must be pleasant, respectful, and courteous to residents, family members, visitors, and fellow employees at all times.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an American Physical Therapy (APTA) accredited program for Physical Therapist Assistant. Experience in adult acute and long-term care facility desired, but not required. Ability to incorporate all aspects of physical therapy in total resident care. Possess "team" philosophy and a desire to facilitate long‑term care residents to their highest level of function.
