Qualifications

• Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in pharmacy activities.
• Performs aseptic compounding of parenteral admixtures and other sterile dosage forms.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information and participates in training of new staff.

Responsabilités

• Triages medication requests and notifies the pharmacist.
• Manufactures, packages, and labels drug products.
• Uses pharmacy computer system to process orders.
• Handles controlled substances, non-formulary drugs, and distribution.
• Participates in training and orientation of new pharmacy employees.
• Maintains rights and confidentiality of patients.
