Job summary

Specialty Infusion Center is seeking a Casual/PRN Home Infusion Registered Nurse to support patients in Escanaba, Michigan and surrounding communities. This role offers flexible hours, independent practice, and opportunities to grow with patient referrals as our services expand.

You will administer infusion therapies at patients’ homes, perform assessments, monitor for adverse reactions, and educate patients and families while coordinating with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Michigan RN license.
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Infusion therapy/home infusion/home health/oncology/critical care experience preferred.
• Strong IV insertion and vascular access skills.
• Experience with PICC lines, implanted ports, and central venous access devices preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide infusion therapy and skilled nursing care in patients’ homes.
• Administer IV, subcutaneous, and other prescribed infusion therapies.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after treatment.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond with clinical judgment.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, side effects, treatment plans, and catheter care.
• Access and maintain central venous devices and ports.
• Operate and troubleshoot infusion pumps and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
