Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree as a physical therapist assistant.
• Licensed and registered Physical Therapy Assistant with unrestricted license to practice in the State of Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for adult and geriatric patients to restore function and relieve pain.
• Tests and measures patient strength, motor development, sensory perception, and response to treatment.
• Develops treatment plans and goals tailored to the patient.
• Instructs and motivates patients to perform activities and consults with licensed Physical Therapist.
