Job summary

Big Childcare is seeking enthusiastic and reliable OSHC Educators to join our team at Wungong Primary School in WA. You will support children before and after school and during vacation care, creating a positive, safe, and engaging environment.

The role involves supervising activities, leading games and crafts, assisting with program planning, and maintaining safety. Essential requirements include a valid Working With Children Check, Australian working rights, and availability for split shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Working With Children Check (VIC).
• Experience in OSHC or childcare (highly regarded).
• Currently studying towards or holding an ACECQA-approved qualification.
• Availability for morning and afternoon split shifts.
• National Police Check (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Reliable transport to travel between Northern suburb services if required.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and engaging children in fun, educational and recreational activities
• Leading games, sports, arts, crafts and cooking experiences
• Assisting with planning age-appropriate programs
• Setting up and packing down activities and food service areas
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive and supportive environment
• Following company policies, procedures and compliance requirements
• Building positive relationships with children, families, schools and team members
