Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking a casual on-call Certified Athletic Trainer to provide on-site medical coverage for contracted schools and events in Wisconsin. You will triage injuries, perform clinical evaluations, and deliver immediate care and rehabilitation as part of our Emplify Health program with Gundersen.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or Sports Medicine, be Board Certified (ATC), licensed in Wisconsin (LAT), and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or Sports Medicine or related field.
• Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the NATA-BOC.
• Licensed Athletic Trainer - Wisconsin (LAT)
• Current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site medical coverage for events, team practice, and competitions.
• Triage injuries and provide clinical evaluation and diagnosis.
• Provide immediate injury care, follow-up treatment, prevention education, and rehabilitative services.
