Job summary

Munson Healthcare’s Women’s Health Service Line is seeking casual OB/GYN physicians to provide call coverage at Munson Hospitals in Gaylord, Grayling, Charlevoix and Cadillac, Michigan. This is a per diem/ancillary opportunity with reimbursement of food, travel, and lodging.

You will join a collaborative team of physicians and CNMs, with a minimum of 3, 24-hour call shifts per month, mileage reimbursement, and credentialing at all sites.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with medical licensure in Michigan.
• Board eligible/certified for OB/GYN in Michigan.
• NRP, BLS, EFM certifications.
• Able to obtain clinical privileges through credentialing processes.

Responsibilities

• Triage OB ED services.
• IP rounding on OB/GYN patients.
• GYN consultations for hospitalized patients and ED.
• Surgical assistance for OBs or gynecologists.
• Provide call coverage and L&D support; interpret EFM strips.
• Stand-by for deliveries and perform amniotomies/sonograms.
• IUPC/FSE placement and monitoring of laboring patients.
