About the Job

This position is a casual position that has intermittent hours.

Responsibilities

• Being present and available at student award ceremonies and special events, to assist with logistics and public relations (50%)
• Providing specialized writing assistance to faculty and researchers on scientific topics for a wide variety of audiences (50%)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• At least five years of experience in communications
• At least two years professional writing experience
• Experience working with scientists; science or scientific-communication background
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Ability to build relationships and engage people in laboratory activities

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $30.00 - $38.33 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
