Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; must attend 2 weeks of training.
• Able to read, write, and follow instructions; basic math skills.
• CPR certification preferred or required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and documents on care activities (ADLs, vital signs, mobility, specimen collection).
• Maintains bedside shift report and hourly rounding to promote safety and cleanliness.
• Documents vitals, I&O, and treatments in the EMR; reports changes to RN.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers and participates in unit supply and equipment management.
