Job Overview

Fairview Health Services is seeking casual Certified Nurse Midwives to join our Midwifery Practice within the Fairview Health Medical Group.

The M Health Fairview Midwives provide lifelong care for people, including pregnancy, birth, lactation, and beyond. Our practice is actively involved in the community—participating in health fairs, reaching out to local schools, providing community-based childbirth education, and lactation support. We also support the growth of midwifery through our involvement with the MN affiliate of ACNM and by serving as a clinical rotation site for nurse-midwifery education programs.

Casual CNMs provide both hospital call and clinic coverage as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Nurse Midwife training program.
• Current or eligible for an MN APRN license and approval or eligibility for prescription writing privileges by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Certification through the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM).
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNM.

Positions with the same min/max are flat rate based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production may allow for higher pay than the posted range.
